On October 21, 2009, the BGSA will host the annual Nakada Lecture and BGSA Symposium. Nearly every graduate student in the School of Medicine is expected to participate. This year, a number of first year graduate students are expected to present posters, although they are not required to do so.

Dr. Donald P. McDonnell from Duke University will give the Nakada Lecture.

This symposium will occur in the BST as well as in Scaife Hall .  It will begin at 8:00AM on Wednesday, October 21st, 2009.
