Most Well-Rounded Student Award

Each year the Biomedical Graduate Student Association recognizes the accomplishment of graduate students in the School of Medicine. The BGSA bestows the “Most Well Rounded Student Award” to an exceptional graduate student for his or her contributions to both the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and to the wider community of Pittsburgh and beyond. This award recognizes students for both their academic and extracurricular achievements, including but not limited to sports, music, education, social service, and volunteering.

If you would like to nominate yourself or another student for the Most Well Rounded Student Award, please submit a 2-3 page letter of nomination stating why you think you or the individual should be given this award.

All nominations should be submitted to no later than September 8th. The nominations will be considered by a committee of students and faculty and the winners will be announced at the BGSA Scientific Research Symposium on October 11, 2017. We look forward to receiving your nominations and please do not hesitate to contact us with questions.

Congratulations to 2016 awardee Aliyah Weinstein from the Immunology program!
